Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Moonlite  Drive-In Theatre & Venue ​​

By purchasing tickets, visiting our property, or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies help us ensure a safe, smooth, and enjoyable experience for all guests. Please read carefully before attending a movie or special event.

🎟 TICKETS & ADMISSION

  • Tickets purchased on this site are only valid for the Moonlite Drive-In in Abingdon, VA.
    (If you normally attend a Moonlite Drive-In in Indiana, Pennsylvania, or Wisconsin, please do not purchase from this site.)

  • A valid digital or printed ticket is required for entry.

  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • All sales are final – no refunds, no rain checks, and tickets are non-transferable unless an event is canceled by Moonlite Theatre.

  • If an event is canceled due to weather or technical issues, we will offer a reschedule or credit option.

  • Lost or stolen tickets will not be replaced.

🧾 ONLINE TICKETING DETAILS

  • A $1.50 booking fee per ticket is charged by the ticketing provider (this does not go to the Moonlite).

  • Double-check your order:

    • Correct date

    • Correct movie or event

    • Correct number of tickets

  • Online tickets may be purchased up to 30 minutes before showtime.

    • If online sales have closed, tickets may still be available at the gate (unless sold out).

  • One transaction per vehicle, please. Your online ticket grants entry for your vehicle and its ticketed occupants.

  • A parking space is guaranteed with your ticket, but spots are first-come, first-served — no reservations.

🚗 ARRIVAL & REDEMPTION

  • Redeem online tickets at the ticket booth on the night of the show.

  • For special events or popular movies, arrive early to avoid long lines.

  • All parking is first-come, first-served whether you buy online or at the gate.

  • After purchase, save or screenshot your QR code (Booking Collection Code) for quick scanning.

 GUEST CONDUCT

  • No outside alcohol, illegal substances, or weapons are permitted.

  • We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove guests who are disruptive, intoxicated, or violate theatre policies.

  • All bags (and yes, trunks too!) are subject to search at the gate for safety.

  • This is a weapon-free venue — thank you for understanding.

🚘 DRIVE-IN & VEHICLE POLICIES

  • Vehicles must park in designated spots.

  • Oversized vehicles may be directed to specific zones to avoid blocking others.

  • Headlights must be off during the movie.

  • Engines should remain off during the show, except for brief use to charge battery or for heat/ AC use.

  • Sound is broadcast via FM radio. We are not responsible for drained car batteries, but quick start battery chargers are available if needed. Portable radios are available for rent in the concession stand.

🍿 FOOD & CONCESSIONS

  • No outside food or beverages are allowed.

  • Please support the Moonlite by visiting our concession stand or on-site vendors.

  • Grills, cooktops, and other cooking equipment are not permitted.

🌦 WEATHER & CANCELLATIONS

  • Events happen rain or shine — dress and prepare for the weather!

  • In rare cases of weather-related cancellation, we will offer credit or rescheduling options.

🎤 SPECIAL EVENT PARKING

  • For concerts and other special events:

    • $5 per vehicle when purchased online in advance (show proof at entry).

    • $10 at the gate without advance purchase.

  • Per VDOT regulations:

    • No parking along Lee Highway

    • No parking across the street

    • Pedestrians may not cross Lee Highway

  • Parking fees are shared with our nonprofit neighbors.
